I just wanted to say how much we valued our training session with Mason. We've already seen improvement in our Great Pyrenees Millie in one day, and we're looking forward to our new dog. We just need some more practice till we have it down. I have to admit we were starting to become more than irritated with her loud, constant, annoying barking, and even not like her at all. Our quality of life was affected, having to get up from whatever we were doing to stop her barking whenever a car drove by, a kid was playing, or even when the phone rang or a closet door closed loudly. Mason explained that she was “in charge” and needed a demotion. We needed to teach her that we’re in charge, not her. He showed us how to claim our personal space, give her attention when we say so, not when she says so, and let her know it’s not her job to protect us from all the noises. Mason & Esteffany are awesome people who also happen to be very good at training dogs and teaching dog owners how to train their dogs. We have a year and a half old golden doodle who is high energy and likes to bark (a lot). After spending just a few hours with Mason & Esteffany, we have already seen an incredible amount of progress. We still have work to do on our end, but they left us with detailed notes and instructions on how to implement the training plan for our dog. It’s simple and doesn’t take a ton of work, just consistent application of a few techniques. Mason & Esteffany explained the “why” of their training methods, and this made all the difference. This was money well spent, and we would (and will) recommend them to anybody we know that wants to make life with their dogs more enjoyable.
Mason was professional, patient and informative. One session and Quest was responding to commands and sitting at an open door waiting for permission to go into the backyard even with a squirrel taunting him mercilessly! I am truly amazed at all we accomplished from walking on a leash without pulling me to not jumping as I enter the house. I was so impressed by Mason and Estaffany! They were so easy to work with and they made my Soba so happy! She warmed up to them right away and took direction beautifully! I adopted her and had her only a few days before we had our first session (which I highly recommend to prevent bad habits developing in a new environment) when adopting! I was so excited and so proud of how well Soba responded to the rules and the conditions we set! You would never guess that she had a rough background or had years of other environments with previous owners! I use a walker, and Soba is very sensitive to me, almost like a service dog's instincts.... and she responded beautifully to the new rules and behaviors I established with the help of this team!!! Esteffany did a wonderful job at explaining the principles behind the Bark Busters training program. She showed the corrective procedures and was very specific with telling me and showing me how to implement them.
Our 9-ish year old dog has been scared of new dogs since she was a puppy. So, we were very scared about introducing her to our new dog. With Bark Busters help, she was down right welcoming to our new dog - much to our surprise and delight.

Mason has been so amazing to work with and has helped my 4 year old black lab mix Moonie SO much with a variety of issues. I saw an immediate improvement in her behavior as soon as we started our lesson. My dog has had some problems meeting new people, often showing fear and sometimes aggression, but Mason’s training exercises helped with that straight away. I was really shocked at how calm she became and how her friendly side truly came out even with people she was just meeting for the first time. She also had severe separation anxiety and Mason worked with us to find a solution that worked for me and my dog. Despite the fact that we needed to work around specific tendencies my pup has and constraints with our home, Mason consistently gave us new things to try and worked with us until we found a solution, and now Moonie is calmer than ever when she’s home by herself. Mason’s communication has been incredible. He is always available to answer my calls and he is extremely thorough with suggestions for exercises and solutions to problems. I cannot recommend his services enough.

Mason came in our home and really helped us with our 4 year old German Shepherd, Junie. Mason is amazing!! I cannot express how amazed I was with the work Mason did with my 8 month old standard poodle Haifa after just 1 lesson!! He was able to show me how to take control & stop the negative behaviors. He got me to really understand how the mind of a dog works and how to communicate and interact with them that harmonizes and aligns with this born given nature. The techniques & exercises he taught me are simple , quick and very effective. I saw Haifa’s issues (jumping, barking, leash pulling, counter surfing, craziness at the front door…just to name a few) just basically stop after one session!! I can't say enough how much this helped us speak dog! We had an immediate behavior change with Mason and how he guided us to work with Finneas. We continue to follow his instructions and even changed Finn's food it was sooooo helpful. It was almost like magic for us. Finn is so relaxed and just super sweet without any bad behaviors he was starting to try :-). This is my 2nd dog and I wish I had found Mason with my 1st one. We LOVE Bark Busters!! We rescued a little rat terrier/chihuahua mix and had problems with her growling at our guests and strangers in public. Mason was extremely helpful. He worked with me and my three teenagers so we understood the fundamentals of communicating with our dogs. He spent a lot of time understanding our concerns and provided a lot of information on nutrition for our rescue who was under weight. I have 2 difficult dachshunds with aggression among other issues, and 1 frenchie puppy. I was tired and overwhelmed and decided to invest in training. I couldn’t be happier with Mason and the wealth of knowledge he brought. He was patient, and made sure that I understood why the issues were happening and how to correct reactive and aggressive behavior. I’m so blown away by the immediate results. My dogs were able to go on a walk without pulling, and we went through various exercises and triggers to begin correcting the behavior. Mason made sure that my dogs were responding to my corrections and taught me to communicate more effectively with my dogs. I really can’t recommend Mason enough!

Our Standard Schnauzer puppy was getting out of control. Biting, nipping, barking, jumping everywhere in the house. While walking, he used to pull the leash very strongly and get overly excited when spotting other people or dogs. We've done some research an decided to call Bark Busters. Mason Erwin came to our home and spent 4 hours with the whole family. He basically trained us and showed us how to handle Otto. After explaining us the behavioral challenges and peculiarities all dogs have, he showed us the corrections we needed to do inside the house. Also, we went for a walk in the nearby the park and trails where we usually walk Otto. Otto was also experiencing separation anxiety. Very disruptive, because we couldn't leave him alone and couldn't have even 6 straight hours of sleep. In sum, we were vey discouraged and frustrated because we couldn't help out our beloved Otto. After the first session with Mason, Otto's behavior changed significantly. No more pulling, no more biting, no more nipping. Walking with him was very pleasant. Separation anxiety was substantially lower. He now stays in his crate at night without barking or whining. We called Mason once more to address a couple of remaining issues; e.g. barking aggressively at other dogs while walking. Once again, Mason's guidance was very effective and Otto stopped the undesirable behavior almost immediately. We are grateful and impressed with Mason's skills and training. It has been a game changer.

Mason arrived on time for our appointment. Our dog Tex was immediately at ease with him, and drawn to his friendly, yet commanding voice. His instruction for us was so simple, but so effective..... almost immediately. We couldn't believe it! One of the issues that we were having with our dog Tex, was corrected that same day!
